In order to promote the intelligent and rapid development of manufacturing industry and logistics and warehousing industry in Chongqing, Huang Qifan, vice chairman of China Center for International Economic Exchange, and his team visited Chongqing Feiliks Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. on July 30 to fully learn about its intelligent development, transformation and upgrading, and put forward instructions according to its characteristics. Wei Xiaochuan, deputy general manager in the southwest region of Feiliks, and other leaders accompanied them during the visit.
Huang Qifan and his team visited the automated multi-layered warehouse and 5G automatic driving debugging site, and carried out in-depth exchanges.
Huang Qifan said, “The automated multi-layered warehouse that improves space utilization rate three times higher than that of traditional warehouse, and increases the benefit by 20% – 30% should be extensively promoted and developed.”
Wei Xiaochuan, deputy general manager in the southwest region of Feiliks, introduced that the company attaches great importance to the introduction and application of automation and intelligent equipment, which can not only improve the operation efficiency and quality, reduce costs, improve the warehouse management level, meet and exceed customer needs, but also play an important role in improving brand influence and enterprise competitiveness.
Wei said, “In addition, the company’s 5G automatic driving project is pioneering in applying automatic driving to the logistics and warehousing industry in Chongqing. It is a logistics distribution truck different from Baidu’s unmanned passenger cars. The project was officially launched in June 2019. Through the application of 5G communication technology, the automatic driving distribution vehicle is transformed to realize the transformation from manned driving to driverless distribution, so as to effectively reduce the logistics distribution cost and build an application demonstration park of automatic driving and distribution based on 5G. ”
After the visit, Huang Qifan fully affirmed the transformation and upgrading road of Feiliks, and expected the company to make good use of the “south channel” from Guangxi Pingxiang to Southeast Asia, so as to develop business in Southeast Asian countries and even the world. Huang Qifan pointed out that the supply chain integration collaborative platform model can help manufacturers to open up the upstream and downstream supply chain, and improve the logistics delivery efficiency of manufacturing plants through intelligent logistics equipment.
Next, Feiliks will continue to implement relevant policies such as intelligent manufacturing 2025, respond to the new wave of international industry 4.0, further improve its business and social benefits, and make contributions to regional economic development.
