On the morning of December 9, 2015, the unveiling ceremony of “Feiliks Global Electronic Parts Distribution Center” and the signing ceremony of “Supply Chain Project for Automobile and Electronic Products Manufacturing” were grandly held in Chongqing Xiyong Micro-electronics Industrial Park. Representatives from all walks of life attended the unveiling and signing ceremonies, including Zhang Zhikui, deputy secretary of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, Yang Liqiong, deputy director of Chongqing Economy and Informatization Commission, Nie Hongyan and Li Kewei, chairman and general manager of Xiyong Micro-electronics Industry Development Co., Ltd. respectively, Shen Liming and Wang Peifang, chairman and vice president of Jiangsu Feiliks International Logistics Co., Ltd. respectively, and representatives of Chongqing Customs, Chongqing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Chongqing Foreign Economic and Trade Commission, and the media.
The investment of Feiliks Manufacturing Supply Chain Project of Automobile and Electronic Products totaled 220 million yuan, with 18 months of the construction period, and the estimated annual operating income of 1.2 billion yuan. The project would mainly develop business in the supply chain of automobile and electronic products (including manufacturing), electronic material distribution center, and trade settlement center. Furthermore, under proper conditions, business of parallel import automobile exhibition and marketing, cross-border e-commerce, notebook computer testing and maintenance would be carried as well. To be noted, the electronic parts distribution center will form import and export business of more than 2 billion US dollars.
At the same time, the project would combine the development plan of “German Industry 4.0” and “Made in China 2025”, utilize Feiliks intelligent logistics to provide efficient supply chain services for intelligent manufacturing, and strive to promote Xiyong as a demonstration base for deep integrated and connected development of modern service industry and manufacturing industry. The project would also promote the functional development in western Chongqing and local regional economy, enhance the supporting functions of the city, speed up the industrial transformation and upgrading of Xiyong Industrial Park, and inject strong impetus into the construction of opening inland highlands.
The official unveiling of Feiliks Global Electronic Parts Distribution Center marks a solid step for both sides to build a global electronic parts distribution base. In the future, all the global commodities (including electronic information products, cross-border e-commerce products, fast-moving consumer goods, etc.) undertaken by Feiliks can all be declared at Chongqing Port for entry and redistributed across the country, or goods can be collected around the whole country to Chongqing before being declared for exit through Chongqing Port.
successful implementation of this project, the import and export volume will increase by 30% – 50% annually, which will greatly enhance the impact of Chongqing as China’s inland port. Next, the two sides will cooperate in five areas: parallel import automobile trade, distribution, trade settlement, cross-border e-commerce, and laptop inspection and maintenance.

Relying on the logistics platforms of Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Chongqing-Sinkiang-Europe International Railway, Xiyong Industrial Park is speeding up the development of cross-border electronic commerce, bonded transactions, cross-border settlement and other foreign trade formats, playing its role in various customs ports, and accelerating the construction of opening inland highlands. Located at the hinterland of inland China and influencing the world, the industry-city integrated demonstration area, combining the advantages of industry and logistics, is rising.
